Kulgam, July 30: A man lost his life after a tyre exploded in the Bon Devsar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
According to officials, the incident took place when the victim was reportedly handling a tyre that suddenly burst. The deceased has been identified as Imtiyaz Rasool Naik, son of Gh Rasool Naik, a resident of Kilm Bozgam village.
Soon after the incident, locals rushed to the spot and informed authorities. However, the man had already succumbed to his injuries.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated further investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the blast.
