Kupwara, Aug 20: A 55-year-old man died of critical injuries, after falling from a walnut tree here on Friday.

Quoting reports news agency – GNS said that one Ghulam Mohiudin Lone, son of Mohammad Akbar Lone, resident of Lalpora Rangwar, presently residing in Muqam Dardpora fell from a walnut tree at Rangwar Hayatpora village.
The individual suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to a nearby hospital from where he was shifted to SDH Kupwara. The doctors on assessing him there, referred the individual to SKIMS Soura, where he breathe his last this afternoon.

A police official has in the meantime confirmed the death of the individual in the incident.
