Pulwama, Sept 16: A walnut harvesting accident proved fatal in south Kashmir’s Tral after a 40-year-old man, who was critically injured in a fall, succumbed at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
The deceased has been identified as Mukhter Ahmad, son of Abdul Rashid Gojree, a resident of Branpathri Nagbal, Tral.

Officials said he fell from a walnut tree during harvesting and was first shifted to Sub District Hospital Tral. From there, he was referred to SMHS Srinagar in critical condition, where doctors said he succumbed shortly after admission. (KNT)
