Land dispute scuffle in Baramulla; injured man dies, four arrested

(Asian News Hub) – A man from Chakloo Baramulla who was seriously injured during a scuffle between two parties sccumbed on tuesday morning, four accused arrested, official said.

Police spokesperson said that police in Baramulla received a complaint that, one person identified as Gh Din Gazi son of Ab Gaffar Gazi resident of Chakloo Baramulla got seriously injured during scuffle between two parties over a land dispute.

Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Baramulla. The injured person was shifted to GMC Baramulla where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries.

Acting swiftly, Police arrested four accused persons involved in the commission of crime.

They have been identified as Ali Mohd Changa son of Lal Changa, Jan Mohd Changa, Ayaz Ahmad Changa both sons of Ali Mohd Changa, Ulfat daughter of Ali Mohd Changa all residents of Chakloo Baramulla.

One more accused person involved in the commission of crime is at large and efforts are on to effect his arrest.

Police have also seized a tractor from the scene of crime, further investigation is going on, he added.
