Pulwama, Feb 13 (ANH): A lady has allegedly committed suicide by setting herself on fire in Rajpora area of Pulwama on Sunday afternoon.
Sources told Asian News Hub that a 36-year-old lady (name withheld) wife of Showkat Ahmad Khan sprinkled kerosene on her body and set herself on fire. She has suffered grievous burn injuries in the incident.
They said that she was rushed to district hospital Pulwama for treatment, where from she has been referred to SMHS Hospital for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile an official at SMHS Hospital told Asian News Hub that the lady has suffered 50% burn injuries and her condition is not well.
