“Kashmer” an NGO holds awareness campaign in Srinagar

(Asian News Hub) – “Kashmer” a non governmental organisation ‘NGO’ of Kashmiri origin health care professionals , held an awareness campaign at JCI, Nishat, Srinagar on Friday.

The program was attended by leading Kashmiri health care professionals and NGOs.

Awareness was raised about (EMRS) Emergenciy medical repsonse ambulance service with critical care facilities counselling and de/addiction services, covid relief ,Vision screening and free glasses for school children, Autism spectrum disorder, tele consultations for autism and polycystic ovarian syndrome( PCOS), dialyses services, free medications, dead body carrier services among other projects. The campaign was held to create awareness of the multiple heath care servies run by “Kashmer ”.

Speaking on the occasion one of the board member of “Kashmer ” Dr Nahida said that our colleagues and the healthcare system here is doing amazing work despite challenges but the need is so immense that all players need to join hands to bring ease and lighten the burden on the health care system – bringing quality and equitable care for all, especilaly the needy in our beloved Kashmir.

At the end of the event, KASHMER shared the helplines numbers for EMS ambulance service and the Heathy Minds Counseling Services.
