J&K logs 113 new cases of Coronavirus and 01 death from Kashmir division

Srinagar, Jan 10: The Government on Sunday informed that 113 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 56 from Jammu division and 57 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 122538. Also 01 COVID-19 death has been reported from Kashmir Division.


Moreover, 195 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 54 from Jammu Division and 141 from Kashmir Division.


According to the daily Media Bulletin on Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 1,22,538 positive cases, 2,011 are Active Positive, 1,18,617 have recovered and 1,910 have died; 711 in Jammu division and 1,199 in Kashmir division.


The Bulletin further said that out of 40,87,291 test results available, 39,64,753 samples have been tested as negative till 10 January, 2021.


Till date 9,52,069 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29,839 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2011 in isolation and 32,567 in home surveillance. Besides, 8,85,742 persons have completed their surveillance period.
