New Delhi, April 19: The Office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of prominent Islamic scholar and religious leader, Allama Syed Muhammad Baqir al-Moosavi al-Najafi. In an official condolence message issued from New Delhi, the representative of the Supreme Leader, Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi, paid rich tributes to the departed scholar for his lifelong religious, spiritual, and humanitarian services.
The message reads, “In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.” “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.” ‘When a religious scholar dies, a crack appears in Islam that cannot be repaired by anything.’
The demise of the great scholar and righteous servant of Islam and Muslims, Allama Syed Muhammad Baqir al-Moosavi al-Najafi (may his soul rest in peace), has brought immense sorrow and grief.
