Srinagar, Oct 31: On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, senior officials from Kashmir extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir, sharing messages of joy, harmony, and prosperity for the festival of lights.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir conveyed his heartfelt greetings to all residents of J&K, including the J&K Police Parivaar. He wished that Diwali brings happiness, harmony, and prosperity into everyone’s lives.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, also extended his best wishes to the people of the Valley. In his message, he highlighted Diwali’s spirit, describing it as a festival that brightens lives and spreads joy. He prayed for the region’s prosperity and communal harmony among all citizens.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, greeted the people on the eve of Diwali. He emphasized the festival’s significance, marking the victory of good over evil and truth over falsehood. He encouraged the people to embrace a virtuous lifestyle and eradicate evil from society. The DC also prayed for renewed joy, enthusiasm, and hope this Diwali, wishing good health, prosperity, and happiness to the people of J&K.
