Srinagar, Oct 07: In a major electoral triumph, the Hope 21 Group led by Javed Ahmad Tenga, Ashiq Hussain Shangloo, Umer Nazir Tibetbaqal and Faiz Ahmad Bakshi swept the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) Executive Committee elections 2025, winning 20 out of 21 seats in a decisive mandate that reaffirms its leadership within Kashmir’s business community.
Out of 695 eligible members, 570 cast their votes, recording an impressive 81.86% turnout, one of the highest in recent years. The results reflect a strong endorsement for continuity, reform, and renewed momentum in the Valley’s trade and economic revival efforts.
According to the final count, Javed Ahmad Tenga led the tally with 464 votes, followed by Ashiq Hussain Shangloo (452), Umer Nazir Tibetbaqal (451), and Faiz Ahmad Bakshi (445).
The 21 elected members of the new Executive Committee are: Javed Ahmad Tenga (464), Ashiq Hussain Shangloo (452), Umer Nazir Tibetbaqal (451), Faiz Ahmad Bakshi (445), Fayaz Ahmad Punjabi (443), Altaf Ahmad Tramboo (430), Ghulam Nabi Bhat (429), Farooq Ahmad Kuthoo (423), Showkat Ahmad Pakhtoon (422), Amir Manzoor Guna (421), Mohammad Ibrahim Siah (420), Muzaffar Majid Jan (406), Irfaan Ahmad Guju (403), Mohammad Latief Bhat (398), Afaq Sarwar Malik (398), Tariq Ahmad Dar (396), Zubair Majajan (396), Abid Hussain Pandith (368), Touseef Ahmad Bhat (366), Aqib Chaya (350) and Farooq Amin (307).

The newly elected Executive Committee will formally take charge following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Monday, where office bearers will be elected.
The emphatic victory of Hope 21 underscores the members’ faith in its vision for economic resilience, business reform, and a forward-looking trade ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir.
