Srinagar, Nov 14: A 7-year-old girl from Zalpora, Budgam, was critically injured after being hit by an unknown motorcycle at Lawaypora on Friday.
The victim, identified as Zara, daughter of Mudasir Hussain Dar, was rushed to JVC Hospital, Bemina, where doctors confirmed she has suffered internal injuries, including liver trauma. Her condition is reported to be critical.
According to the family, the accident took place when the child was crossing the road and was suddenly struck by a speeding motorcycle, which fled the spot.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations underway.
