Ganderbal police solves theft case, accused arrested, stolen items worth lakhs recovered

(Asian News Hub) – Ganderbal Police solved another theft case and arrested one accused person involved in the crime. Moreover, one mobile phone with charger, two branded watches and one golden ring were recovered on his disclosure.

It is pertinent to mention here that on 17th of Jan 2022, Police Station Lar received a complaint from one person namely Ishtiyaq Ahmad Rather son of Mohd Maqbool Rather resident of Manigam Lar district Ganderbal regarding theft during the intervening night of 15th and 16th January, 2022, at his house.

Accordingly police swung into action and registered a case under FIR No. 03/2022, under section 457,380 IPC in Police Station Lar and investigation was initiated.

SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS constituted a special team led by SHO Police Station Lar, Gulzar Ahmad under the supervision of DySP HQ Ganderbal Shri Ab Majid- JKPS. In a quick action the Police team cracked the said case and after intensive & thorough analysis arrested one person involved in the theft.

The accused has been identified as Suhail Ahmad Rather S/O Ghulam Mohi u din R/O Baghwan Mohalla Manigam Lar Ganderbal.

Moreover, tools used in theft were recovered and seized on the spot, pertinent to mention that Police Station Lar has solved the aforementioned theft case in less than one week and 100% recovery was made on the instance of the accused person.

For the quick and timely response by Ganderbal Police, general public appreciated and hailed the efforts of Police.
