Srinagar, Sept 26: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has decided to reopen several tourist destinations in both Kashmir and Jammu divisions from Monday, 29th September. These places were temporarily closed earlier as a precautionary measure.
According to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, the decision was taken after a detailed security review during the Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting held today.
In Kashmir Division, seven spots including Aru Valley, Rafting Point Yanner, Akkad Park, Padshahi Park, and Kaman Post will be reopened. In Jammu Division, five locations, Dagan Top in Ramban, Dhaggar in Kathua, and Shiv Cave in Salal, Reasi will also be thrown open for visitors.

The administration said the move is expected to boost tourism activities and provide relief to stakeholders associated with the sector.
