Srinagar, Sept 23: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Chaudhary on Tuesday announced that the foundation stone for the 4-laning of Boulevard Road from Dalgate to Kral Sangri will be laid on October 17.

Talking to media persons here, Chaudhary said the project aims to improve traffic flow and promote tourism in Srinagar. He added that the 4-lane road is a long-cherished dream of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

“The widened road will ease connectivity around Dal Lake and benefit both locals and visitors,” he added.
