As per the recommendations, Lal Ded Hospital was directed to take some steps to prevent fire. But after 3 years, the installation of the fire safety system has not been completed. In such a situation, a fire truck and 6 staff members have been deployed at Lal Deed Hospital. A similar vehicle will be stationed at CD Hospital. As a precaution, the staff will be stationed in hospitals.

Similarly, after the Fire and Emergency Department conducted a fire audit at Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hospital, Rainawari 10 years ago, steps taken to prevent fire were not sufficient.

“No significant fire protection system has been set up at Rainawari Hospital for the last 10 years,” the audit said.
