Srinagar, Sept 11: Peoples Democratic Party President and Former Chief Minster Mehbooba Mufti has voiced deep concern over the situation in Doda, where authorities have imposed an internet blackout, enforced a curfew, and closed schools.
In a post on X, Mufti described reports of roads being deliberately blocked as “deeply disturbing,” saying such measures deprive residents of their fundamental right to movement. She called the response “heavy-handed” and “authoritarian,” warning that it undermines core democratic values.
