However, the principal of the college said that the aggrieved doctors and staffers should contact them with their grievance.

A senior doctor of the department wishing anonymity told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that head of department is harassing them and they are subjected to go through mental torture and extra duties.

“Whosoever under unavoidable circumstances requests for leave is being harassed and often makes personal comments,” the doctor added.

Doctors claimed that they have written to higher ups in this regard but nothing has been done so far.

They requested higher ups to look into the matter at the earliest so that they can heave a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, Principal GMC Baramulla Dr Ruby Reshie told KNO that instead of going here and there, staff members facing harassment must contact her as they have a disciplinary committee in place to conduct a threadbare investigation.

“They must write to me whatever issues they have,” she added.
