DC B’la visits Fire victims; provides Rs 50k Cash assistance to each affected family

Baramulla, May 09 (ANH): In order to take a firsthand appraisal of the post fire situation, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today paid visit to Old Town Baramulla where she met the fire victims whose residential houses were gutted in a recent massive fire incident.

It is worth mentioning here that several families got affected in a massive fire incident on 07th of this Month.

On the occasion, the DC was apprised about the fire victims and it was informed that 21 families have got affected due to the massive fire incident.

The DC had a round of the gutted houses and interacted with the affected families. She was also apprised about the condition and post fire situation faced by the affected families.

The DC provided an immediate relief of 50,000 rupees to every affected family.

Pertinently, the district administration had provided immediate assistance with tents and blankets to the victims for their temporary rehabilitation.

The DC also assured every possible support from district administration to the fire victims.
