Srinagar, April 17: In a crackdown on financial cybercrime, the Cyber Police Kashmir, in collaboration with local police stations, carried out multiple raids across Srinagar and Ganderbal districts on Thursday.
“Three location in Srinagar and Ganderbal were raided early this morning, with the focus on individuals allegedly involved in facilitating fraudulent transactions through bank accounts opened in their names — commonly referred to as mule accounts,” news agency KDC reported quoting sources.
Official sources confirmed that the raids were launched following credible inputs and technical surveillance by Cyber Police Kashmir.
