Srinagar, July 07: Crescent Public School in Naseem Bagh, Srinagar, has officially cancelled its earlier decision to charge students for air conditioner (AC) usage in classrooms.
The now-withdrawn order (No. CPS/211/Adm., dated July 7, 2025) had directed students to pay Rs 150 each for AC expenses during the ongoing heatwave. However, after facing strong criticism from parents and the public, the school has taken back the order.
