Boys lag behind again; Toppers thank teachers, parents; say was difficult to remain focussed on studies amid pandemic

Srinagar, Feb 08 (ANH): In the annual regular results of 12th standard for Kashmir division, female students did not give any space to the male candidates to secure the top positions in all four major streams.

She says that the guidance of her teachers and support of parents make her successful in achieving the feat.

“I consider myself very lucky in terms of having the right guide and mentor because nothing would have been possible if I would not have been guided at the right time by my teachers,”, Arusa said.

She further said that the online mode of education had made it a bit tough for the students to prepare for the exams.

Arusa said, “In the aftermath of COVID-19, it has become very important to the students to focus more on their studies. Earlier, there might have been a scope of leniency in terms of self-studying, but this time the situation was entirely different as the students had to go through a very tough phase.”
