Srinagar, Mar 15: The Cabinet Sub-Committee, constituted to examine the complex issue of reservations in recruitment, has been given a six-month timeline to complete its report. This decision was taken following a meeting between the Chief Minister and a group of concerned job aspirants.
The timeline, which was not initially included in the order establishing the sub-committee, will be officially corrected, the Office of the Chief Minister confirmed in a statement on X. However, it assured that the committee is already working towards completing its task within the set timeframe.
The move comes amid growing demands for clarity and fairness in the reservation policy, particularly in government job recruitments. The sub-committee’s report is expected to play a crucial role in shaping future policies on the matter.
