Budgam, July 22: A 14-year-old boy from Farashgund Daharmunah in central Kashmir’s Budgam district succumbed to electrocution injuries after battling for over 48 hours in the ICU at SKIMS Soura.
Officials told that Farhan Shabir Mir suffered a severe electric shock on Sunday evening and was immediately shifted to SKIMS in critical condition. Despite intensive medical care, he could not survive.
This marks the second electrocution-related death in the Daharmunah area recently, following the death of another youth from Paul Mohalla under similar circumstances.
