Anantnag, May 24: The body of a teenage girl was recovered from the Lidder River near the Selfie Point area in Nunwan, Pahalgam, on Friday, officials said.
According to officials, police personnel, with assistance from locals, retrieved the body from the river near the popular Selfie Point.
The body was subsequently shifted to PHC Pahalgam for medico-legal formalities.

The deceased was later identified as Nuzhat Rasool, a resident of Valoo Kokernag. Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident. (JKNS)
