Srinagar, June 10: A bike rider lost his life in a road accident in Sangam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that an accident took place at NHW Donipora crossing when one tipper B R NO JK01AB_6038 hit one motor cycle resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist.
They said that the motorcyclist identified as Shahid Ahmed Rather (19) son of Gh Nabi son of Chowgund Verinag was brought to SDH Bijbehara for initial treatment, where he succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
