A 19-month-old baby boy drowned to death in a canal near his house at Bellow Rajpora area of Pulwama on Thursday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that 19-month-old baby son of Shaqeel Ahmad Bakshi was playing in the garden when he slipped into the canal.
They said, family members saw the baby drowning in a canal, and they jumped into it and pulled the baby out, and rushed the baby to CHC Rajpora for treatment.
However, doctors declared the baby boy brought dead on arrival.
A police officer confirmed the incident to ANH.
