Srinagar, Nov 28: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale struck the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border on Thursday afternoon. However, tremors were felt across Kashmir.
The National Centre for Seismology, in a post on X, informed that “An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck Afghanistan at a depth of 165 km, with a latitude of 36.49° N and longitude of 71.27° E, at 16:19 (IST).”
