Bandipora, Aug 20: An 18-month-old girl was killed after being hit by a speedy school vehicle in Lankreshipora area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.

Quoting an official the news agency—KNO reported, that the speedy school vehicle hit a girl at Lankreshipora, resulting in critical injuries to her.

“Soon after the incident, she was rushed to district hospital Bandipora where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura. She, however, succumbed to her injuries,” he said.

He identified the victim as Ajwa Rasheed daughter of Rasheed Ahmad of Lankreshipora.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
