Srinagar, Jun 12: A Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant involved in killing of two policemen was killed in a chance encounter in Srinagar on Sunday evening, police said.
They said that LeT militant identified as Adil Parray resident of Ganderbal was killed in a chance encounter with small team of Police in Khreshbal Sangam area of Srinagar outskirts.
Inspector General of Police said that the killed militant was involved in killing of two policemen namely Gh Hassan Dar in Sangam & Saifulla Qadri in Anchar area of Soura and injuring a 9 year old girl.
Quoting Inspector General of PoliceVijay Kumar, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “LeT #terrorist Adil Parray of #Ganderbal who was involved in #killing of 02 JKP personnel Gh Hassan Dar in Sangam & Saifulla Qadri in Anchar Soura and injuring a 9 year old girl, killed in a chance #encounter with a small team of Police.”
