Srinagar, Mar 12: A local court in Srinagar has issued a pre-cognizance notice to the Directors and Editors of ELLE, a renowned fashion brand, over the fashion show it organized in Gulmarg last week.
The notice was issued in response to a complaint filed by AIPs Adil Nazir Khan, who was represented by Advocate Naveed Bukhtiyar. The legal move follows recent controversy surrounding the event, which had already prompted an apology from designers Shivan & Narresh, who were involved in the show.
Shivan & Narresh had earlier expressed regret over the event following public backlash, as reported by Asian News Hub. The latest court development adds another layer to the ongoing debate regarding the fashion show and its implications.
