Srinagar, Feb 8: Non-local who was injured in a militant attack in Shal Kadal area of Srinagar on Wednesday evening succumbed to his wounds this morning.
Quoting a top police officer news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that two Punjab residents were shot at by terrorists in Shal kadal area of Srinagar.
They said that man identified as Amrit Pal (31) from Amritsar Punjab died on the spot while Rohit Mashi (27) son of Prem Mashi resident of Punjab received bullet injury in abdomen, who was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar in critical condition, where from he was shifted to SKIMS soura for specialised treatment. However, he succumbed to injuries this morning.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
