(Asian News Hub) – A Special Operation Group (SOG) man was killed while three soldiers were injured in a gunfight in Pariwan village of Kulgam district on Wednesday, police said.
A police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that “the operation was launched this evening. As the security forces approached the suspected area spot, the hiding militants fired at them, which was retaliated triggering an encounter.”
In the gunfight SOG man was killed,” a police officer said.
“Three soldiers were also wounded in the gunfight and were shifted to a medical facility,” he added.
