Srinagar, Jan 30: The crescent of the month of Shabaan has been sighted, confirming that Shab-e-Baraat will be observed on 13th February, Thursday.
Grand Mufti J&K, Nasir-ur-Islam confirmed the sighting of the crescent and officially announced the date for the auspicious night, news agency JKNS reported.
“The crescent has been sighted, and Shab-e-Baraat will be observed on 13th February that is Thursday,” they said.
