Anantnag, July 31: A man died while another was injured in a road accident near Fruit Mandi Batengoo in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, officials said.
An official told that an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle without a registration number, resulting in serious injuries to two persons. They were shifted to a nearby hospital, where one of them succumbed.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Yousuf Najar, 40, son of Ab Gani Najar, a resident of Gurr Bijbehara. The injured is 40-year-old resident of Addar and is stated to be stable, they said.
