Says, ‘I have accepted Islam, I do namaz..’
Rakhi Sawant is hoping to go for Umrah this Ramadan. The actress, who is fighting a legal battle against husband Adil Khan Durrani, revealed her desire of going for Umrah to paps on March 13. She shared that the process is on for getting her a visa but she is unsure if it would come through.

Sharing her plans for the holy month, Rakhi said, “Ek maheena Ramzan ka sambhal ke because usmein shayad hi mein gym aongi (I’d be cautious in Ramzan for a month and won’t come to the gym). Because you have to stay hungry the whole day. Roze mein sirf namaz padhna hai poore maheene (Have to read namaz the whole month).”
Rakhi shared she is in the process of getting an affidavit made so she can go for Umrah. She said, “Mere Khalid Mamu, Wahid bhai…they are making my affidavit in Jama Masjid a for visa so I can go for Umrah. I want to keep rozas properly so my sins get washed. If I go for Umrah during Ramzan, mera naseeb khul jayega. But I don’t know if I’d get the affadavit though I have accepted Islam. Mein roze karti hun, namaz padthi hun paanch time ki. All I’d say is that mera connection upar wale se hai agar unhe lagta hai agar mein tahe dil se namaaz padh rahi hun, sachai se Islam follow kar rahi hun, toh mera umrah jaana definitely hoga.”
