A pedestrian was killed after hit by a speedy vehicle in Hanjiwara, Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Wednesday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a pedestrian identified as Ashiq Hussain resident of Kunzar was hit by speedy vehicle on Srinagar-Baramulla highway in Hanjiwara area this evening.
They said that Ashiq died on spot and the vehicle fled away from the spot.
Meanwhile police has launched a man hunt to nab the driver, trace the vehicle and the case has been registered in this regard, reports added.
