A man was killed while another person was critically injured in a road accident near Badrah crossing Kralgund area of Handwara this evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that two persons identified as Viqar Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Afzal Bhat and another person who’s identity is being ascertained were critically injured after scooty they were travelling on met with an accident with tractor near Badrah crossing Kralgund this evening.
They said that both the injured persons were rushed to Associated Hospital GMC Handwara for treatment, where Viqar Ahmad Bhat was declared brought dead, while another injured person has been referred to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident
