Qazigund, June 06: In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was found dead in a Nallah in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday, officials said.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the body of baby was found near a bridge in Nallah Yathvathur at Manigam area of Qazigund on Sunday afternoon.
“The body was fished out and taken to nearby health facility for legal medical formalities,” he said.
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident.
