The same evening, he stuffed his mother’s body into a suitcase and travelled to Prayagraj by train, to dispose of the body.

He was, however, caught by police who were patrolling in the area. Suspicious, police searched the suitcase and found the woman’s body stuffed inside it.

During the investigation, police contacted Himanshu’s landlady in Haryana’s Hisar, where he lived with his mother in a rented room.

The owner told police that they had bought the house nearly six months ago and Himanshu and his mother had moved in a week ago. The owner last saw Himanshu’s mother on the morning of December 13.

Police also scanned CCTV in the area which showed Himanshu keeping something inside an auto. Further investigation is underway.
