New Delhi, May 22: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet against former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik, his two former private secretaries, and four others in connection with an alleged corruption case linked to the Kiru Hydroelectric Project in Jammu and Kashmir, according to CBI officials quoted by ANI.
The case pertains to alleged irregularities in the awarding of contracts related to the hydroelectric project.
The CBI had been probing the matter for months before filing the chargesheet, which marks a significant development in the investigation.
