According to officials, the incident triggered a massive fire that engulfed multiple vehicles parked nearby. The Delhi Fire Department said a distress call was received soon after the blast, following which seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot to contain the blaze.

A team from the Delhi Police Special Cell and forensic experts are on the scene to investigate the nature and origin of the explosion. “We are examining all possible angles, including whether any explosive material was planted in the vehicle,” an officer at the site said.
