Multiple female students faint during self-defense event in Handwara: Reports

Multiple female students fell unconscious at a government school in Handwara, area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, during a self-defense event on Thursday, reports said.

Reports said that the incident occurred when pepper spray was employed, resulting in the affected students losing consciousness.

Upon the students losing consciousness, prompt action was taken, and all affected female students were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for necessary medical attention.

School authorities expressed their concerns and assured that an investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of this unfortunate incident.

While suspicions have been raised regarding the possible involvement of some of the girls in this incident, it’s important to note that the investigation is currently ongoing, and the facts surrounding the event will be established through due process.
