New Delhi, June 13: YouTube star MrBeast has become the first individual content creator in the world to cross the 500 million subscriber mark, setting a new benchmark on the platform.
The 28-year-old creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, reached the milestone during a livestream on Friday, calling the achievement “freakin’ insane.”

Reflecting on his journey, MrBeast said he never imagined reaching such heights, recalling his modest upbringing and his early passion for YouTube.
“I really shouldn’t be where I am today,” he said. “I found YouTube at the age of 11 and gave it my all.”
MrBeast began uploading videos in 2012 and has since built a global audience through high-budget challenges, philanthropy-driven content and viral entertainment.

The milestone further strengthens his position as the most influential individual creator on YouTube, with a subscriber base larger than the population of most countries.
