Srinagar, Feb 23: Body of man who was missing since November last year has been retrieved from Jhelum in the Parimpora area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district this afternoon.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a semi-decomposed body was retrieved from river Jhelum in Parimpora this afternoon.
They said police took the body and shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and following which he was identified as Farooq Ah Wani son of Gh Qadir Wani resident of Karfali Mohalla Shalla kadal Srinagar and who was missing since 23 November 2023.
Police have already registered a case in this regard and further investigation taken up.
