Additional Director General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar on Thursday said that Army soldier who was missing since July 29 has been recovered by Kulgam police.

He said that joint interrogation will start shortly after medical checkup.
Quoting ADGP, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “#Missing Army jawan has been recovered by Kulgam Police. Joint #interrogation will start shortly after medical checkup. Further details shall follow.”
Pertinently, Army soldier identified as Javid Ahmad Wani son of Muhammad Ayoub Wani, a resident of Asthal area of Kulgam had went missing since Saturday evening.
He had went to Chawalgam area for purchasing some food items in his Alto vehicle bearing registration number (JK-18B 7201). Since then he had not reported back to his home, reported local media on Sunday.
