It was chance encounter, some damage occurred to windscreen on car: SSP Sgr
Srinagar, Aug 03: Militants fired upon a vehicle in Aloochibagh area of Srinagar this evening, no loss of life or injury reported, official said.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that unidentified militants fired upon a vehicle resulting in damage to the Windscreen of the car.
However, there was no loss of life or injury to any, meanwhile, Police has launched a Cordon-and-Search operation in the area to nab the attackers.
Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Rakesh Balwal told KNO that it was a chance encounter as the party had gone fire recee, saying that the search has been launched while no damage has been reported during the incident.

He further said that some damage has occured to windscreen on car and police party had fired back at militants, who managed to escape the spot.
