Tel Aviv, Jun 15: Iran carried out a major missile attack on Israel overnight, killing 10 people and injuring hundreds. This is one of the deadliest attacks since the conflict began.
In Bat Yam, a city south of Tel Aviv, six people — including two children — lost their lives when a missile hit a residential building. Seven people are still missing, and rescue teams are searching through the debris. Around 200 people were injured in the city, many of them seriously.
In another attack earlier that evening, a missile hit a house in Tamra, in northern Israel, killing four members of one family and injuring 20 others.

Missile attacks were also reported from Yemen, and there were drone alerts in other parts of Israel. According to The New York Times, the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot was also hit, causing fires in some laboratories.
