12 employees of MC Sopore test postive for Covid

(Asian News Hub) – Panic has gripped at Municipal Council Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday after 12 of its employees tested positive for Coronavirus.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a mass testing was done today in which 12 employees of Municipal Council Sopore tested positive for COVID-19 and all of them have been asked to self-isolate themselves.

In this regard, the officials said that the preventive measures are being taken by the authorities while all employees have been asked to go for testing and to take all precautionary measures.

The development comes amid rising cases of Coronavirus and Omicron from across the country.

Pertinently, 184 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 48 hours in Sopore town.
