Poonch, March 30: In a tragic incident of its type a man used his licensed 12-bore rifle to shot at his nephew, resulting in latter’s on spot death in Poonch district on intervening Friday and Saturday night.
Quoting officials news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that during a family clash, one Joginder Singh son of Jodh Singh opened fire, with his licensed 12-bore rifle, on his nephew Gagandeep Singh leaving him dead on the spot.
“The situation unfolded after the two parties engaged in a clash over family dispute,” they said.

A police official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that cognisance has been taken into the matter and the accused apprehended alongside the weapon of offence.
