Srinagar, Apr 16: On Thursday morning, a 60-year-old man died after a stone fell and struck him in the Charunda area of Uri sector in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shafi Jinder, son of Shera Jinder, a resident of Charunda Uri.
Reports said he was grazing livestock near Charunda when a stone suddenly rolled down from the upper side and hit him.
He died on the spot due to the impact, reports added.

Meanwhile, further necessary proceedings have been initiated.
